CEO (Cat Executive Officer)

While we may be low budget here at Maynardville.Com, we are not without our staff. The picture below is that of my Vice President and CEO, Kiddy. While he may not be much in the planning and development department, he does well with the mouse.

Actually, he keeps me company while I spend hours typing code. And after I spend hours typing code, and realize it's all wrong, he will do something ridiculous to make me laugh. He sits on my desk, content to watch the cursor fly around the monitor screen. He realizes that the mouse has something to do with it. He has now begun pawing at the mouse. The other day he sent his very first e-mail. I hadn't finished typing it yet, but he thought it was ready and sat on the mouse. So if you ever get a strange, half written e-mail from me, Vice President Kiddy sent it.

My wife says that the way Maynardville.Com is run by me, Vice President Kiddy could hire a monkey to push the keys and replace me altogether. Maybe so, but I'll worry when that cat learns to drive a car.

Just a bit of humor here. Actually I have several people who help me from time to time. None are paid and all volunteer their time. Some live here, some live in other states, but we all do it because we like Union County.

Kiddy is a seven year old, highly nervous gray cat. We got him from the pound, and he's been my friend ever since. And, in fact, is probably better help than I've ever had. He never disagrees with me. The picture above is Kiddy trying on my wife's Halloween costume. She was a blue M&M. I went dressed in normal clothes. My wife said together we were M&M's with nuts.
